It’s been a lonely few months for Hillary Clinton.
First, she disappeared into the woods to wander in her loneliness, naval gazing about her stunning loss (at least stunning to the mainstream media). No word on whether, like Vice President Al Gore after his loss, she’s grown a beard.
Hillary and her cronies then went on an offensive to blame Russia (the Russians?) for her loss. See, the filthy Russians released a bunch of e-mails from Team Hillary that showed they sandbagged Sen. Bernie Sanders in the primaries and are, to use a colloquial term, scummy people.
Then, the Clinton loyalists, who aren’t loyal to anyone else, blamed former President Barack Obama for their dizzying defeat. They say Obama didn’t “come out early and forcefully with evidence of Russian interference in the campaign,” Axios reported.
“A Clinton campaign official told us: ‘The White House was like everyone else: They thought she’d win anyway. … If he had done more, it might have lessened a lot of aggrieved feelings, although I don’t think it would have altered the outcome. The Russia thing was like a spy novel, and anything he had said or done would have helped get people to believe it was real.’ “
But unlike Obama, who weighed in quickly with his own divisive statement on his successor’s attempt to secure America by putting a temporary hold on immigration from seven terrorist hotbeds, Hillary has stayed all but silent.
She showed up at the inauguration, but only because she had to after bashing President Trump for saying he might not accept the election outcome, took in a Broadway, where the liberal elite in Manhattan gave here and her hubby a standing O, and keeps being seen wandering around in the woods near one of her several multi-million dollar mansions.
Now, though, she’s writing a new book, and while it sounds horrible (she’ll muse on inspirational quotes and tell passionate stories about her favorite subject — herself),
This is all about the rehabilitation of Hillary for, wait for it: a 2020 run. She’ll even kick off a TV show, like Oprah’s, where she’ll get to push her message to the masses.
“She thinks being the host of a popular TV show would energize the Democratic Party base and her tens of millions of fans,”an “unnamed source” told author Ed Klein. “It’s a way to make a comeback and position herself for another run at the White House starting in a year or so.”
So, be ready for that. And be ready for this two-time loser to become a three-time loser.
