Bristol Palin slammed the “hypocritical” gay community over the controversy surrounding “Duck Dynasty” star Phil Robertson.

“Everyone needs to leave Phil Robertson alone for expressing his beliefs,” the 23-year-old former reality star posted on her blog Monday, referring to A&E’s suspension of the patriarch of its hit show over comments he made comparing homosexuality to bestiality.

‘Start with homosexual behavior and just morph out from there,’ Robertson answered when asked by GQ what exactly he considered sinful, ‘bestiality, sleeping around with this woman and that woman and that woman and those men.’

“I think it’s so hypocritical how the LGBT community expects every single flippen person to agree with their life style. This flies in the face of what makes America great — people can have their own beliefs and own opinions and their own ways of life.

“I hate how the LGBT community says it’s all about ‘love’ and ‘equality,'” she added. “However, if you don’t agree with their lifestyle, they spread the most hate. It is so hypocritical it makes my stomach turn.”

The younger Palin’s diatribe comes days after her mother – former GOP VP candidate Sarah Palin – gave her own spirited defense of their fellow high-profile conservative.

“Free speech is an endangered species. Those ‘intolerants’ hatin’ and taking on the ‘Duck Dynasty’ patriarch for voicing his personal opinion are taking on all of us,” she vented on her Facebook page Wednesday.

Her comments came hours after the controversy over Robertson’s now infamous interview GQ hit the internet.

“It seems like, to me, a vagina — as a man — would be more desirable than a man’s anus; that’s just me,” said the 67-year-old Robertson, who is an Evangelical Christian, opined. “I mean, come on, dudes! . . . It’s just not logical.” Robertson kept right on quacking, equating gay sex with a host of other moral wrongs when asked to define what he considered “sinful.”

Bristol’s mother, Sarah Palin, poses with the ‘Duck Dynasty’ clan in a photo she later posted on Facebook.

Robertson took his brand of logic even further:

“Start with homosexual behavior and just morph out from there,” he explained when asked by GQ’s Drew Magary what exactly he considered sinful, “bestiality, sleeping around with this woman and that woman and that woman and those men.”

GLAAD and other protesters called for a boycott of the highest rated reality show in A&E’s history. Feeling the pressure, the network condemned Robertson’s comments and put him on an “indefinite hiatus” — a move that has reportedly caused the rest of the Robertson clan to consider leaving the show for which they’re under contract.

The Robertson clan, which includes Phil’s brother, Si, and sons, Willie, Jase and Jep, has been enjoying the spotlight since the unlikely success of the A&E reality series about their duck call business, using their fame as a soapbox to spread their conservative political and religious views.

“If I were Duck Dynasty, I would take my show to another channel,” concluded Bristol Palin in her online rant.

“So much disrespect.”
