It’s getting more and more difficult to understand why the Obama campaign kept Joe Biden on the presidential ticket . . . for everyone but Joe Biden.
At an unscheduled stop at Schmidt’s Farmer’s Market and the Good Earth Restaurant just outside of Muscatine, Iowa, the Vice President reportedly told a group of four senior aged women that not only was he a good Vice President, he was also a very ‘effective’ politician.
Speaking of his 2008 run for President, Biden told the ladies, “Well you know what, on the way on the plane, to show you how effective I am, my political guy said I’m glad we’ve got your schedule for just the last time around when I was trying to get the nomination.
“I spent 120 days in Iowa. You saw how effective I am. You know what I mean? But I’m a good Vice President.
