Keith A. Viveiros,
As I see both sides of this partisan country duke it out over the Phil Robertson controversy, it reminds me of how Partisan this country really has become. I Agree that EVERYONE has the right to free speech and Mr. Robertson certainly was in his right to say what he said.
What I don’t understand is he claims to be a Christian, but he not only voiced his opinion but threw his disgusting words on Christ ,who.came to this world for ALL of us sinners and we are NOT to.Judge, that is for God and God alone!
I may be a sinner but accept my weaknesses as a human and give it up to the Lord who. loves me even though I am “gay” , He made me who I am and that is that. Mr. Robertson’s portrayal of myself and all those like me as ” akin to beastiality” ( basing it on the Bible) is just a sad reminder of how biased and evil people hide behind religion to persecute, read your history books people this is the same persecution as of the Jews, blacks, non-believers from the Crusades, etc and I could go on and in about it,It Is Shameful in the ” Land of the Free”.
so my free speech is being invoked to say you all are hateful bigots and not.true Christians because otherwise you would love your neighbors not slander and persecute them. Merry Christmas, the season of God’s eternal gift ,from a gay man who is living a true Christian life because you can persecute me and mine but I will still pray the Lord forgive you your transgression.
