Al Qaeda Mastermind: We Were Going To Exploit Immigration Laws
In a new book, titled: “Enhanced Interrogation,” CIA contractor, James Mitchell, reveals several stunning conversations he had with 9/11 mastermind, Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, known colloquially as KSM.
The Washington Examiner published an excerpt from Mitchell’s book in which KSM said that flashy terror attacks were only a small part of the plan to destroy the West:
“It would be nice,” he said, if al Qaeda or like-minded Islamists could bring America to its knees with catastrophic attacks, but that was unlikely to happen; “not practical” is the wording he used. From his perspective, the long war for Islamic domination wasn’t going to be won in the streets with bombs and bullets and bloodshed. No, it would be won in the minds of the American people.
[Khalid Sheikh Mohammed] said the terror attacks were good, but the “practical” way to defeat America was through immigration and by outbreeding non-Muslims. He said jihadi-minded brothers would immigrate into the United States, taking advantage of the welfare system to support themselves while they spread their jihadi message.
They will wrap themselves in America’s rights and laws for protection, ratchet up acceptance of Sharia law, and then, only when they were strong enough, rise up and violently impose Sharia from within. He said the brothers would relentlessly continue their attacks and the American people eventually would become so tired, so frightened, and so weary of war that they would just want it to end. “Eventually,” KSM said, “America will expose her neck to us for slaughter.”
If Mitchell’s account is accurate, it puts everything we thought we knew in a different light. Terror attacks are not the grand plan, merely a bonus. The real plan is infiltration via the lax immigration laws of the United States. If that’s indeed the case, we have a cancer inside us of which we are currently unaware.
Two examples of such infiltration, and, as KSM allegedly said, jihadis wrapping themselves “in America’s rights and laws for protection,” can be seen in the Syrian refugee crisis, as well as in the Islamic rights group, CAIR.
As the civil war continues in Syria, hundreds of thousands of refugees are fleeing to Europe and the United States.
By the numbers, the vast majority of refugees are simply trying to escape the extraordinary violence in their own country. However, such a crisis can be used for purposes of terrorism-and it already has.
Two of the men involved in the Paris attack on November 13, 2015, posed as a Syrian refugees. Ahmad al-Mohammad and M al-Mahmod, who blew themselves up at the Stade de France stadium, came to Paris from Greece. According to reports, the men checked in on the Greek island of Leros on October 3, 2015, using fake Syrian passports. From there, they made their way to France, where they eventually participated in one of the most horrific terror attacks in modern history.
The United States has given safe harbor to more than 10,000 Syrian refugees since the 2011 civil war began, the majority of whom came to the U.S. in 2015 and 2016 after the Obama administration made the unilateral decision to accept more refugees from the war-torn nation.
There’s a problem, however. Despite the claims that the United States has an airtight vetting process for refugees, FBI Director James Comey himself said that because of the chaos in Syria, refugees cannot be properly checked:
During Comey’s October 21, 2015, testimony before the House Homeland Security Committee, he said:
“I think that’s the challenge we’re all talking about is that we can only query against that which we have collected. And so if someone has never made a ripple in the pond in Syria in a way that would get their identity or their interests reflected in our database, we can query our database until the cows come home, but we’re not gonna-nothing [will] show up because we have no record on that person…
With respect to Iraqi refugees, we had far more in our databases because of our country’s work there for a decade. This is a different situation.”
Additionally, in 2015, Director of National Intelligence, James Clapper, said: “I don’t, obviously, put it past the likes of ISIL to infiltrate operatives among these refugees, so that’s a huge concern of ours.”
On to the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), an alleged civil rights and advocacy organization. According to Fox News: “[CAIR] has held hundreds of meeting with White House officials on a wide range of community issues and has sought to present itself as a mainstream Muslim organization.”
CAIR is not a mainstream Muslim organization. As Daily Wire previously reported, CAIR has connections to Hamas, one of the world’s most well-known terrorist organizations, and in 2008, CAIR was listed as “an unindicted co-conspirator” in Hamas fundraising.
Fox News reports:
CAIR’s executive director, Nihad Awad…was shown to have participated in planning meetings with the Holy Land Foundation, five officials of which were convicted in December of funneling $12.4 million to Hamas.
CAIR cries wolf frequently, and perhaps purposefully. The organization was apoplectic when the film Honor Diaries was to be released. National Review writes that the film is important because it “explores the brutality and systematic inequality faced by women in Muslim-majority societies. It features both believing Muslim women, like Dr. Qanta Ahmed…and former Muslims like Ayaan Hirsi Ali, the renowned author and human-rights activist…”
The purpose of Honor Diaries is to empower women by shining a light on the hardships they endure-including “honor” killings (i.e., murders over the perception of having brought shame to the family by violating Islamic norms), beatings, genital mutilation, forced marriage-particularly of young girls-and restrictions on movement, education, and economic opportunity. The film highlights authentic Muslim moderates struggling against the dead-end of Islamic supremacism.
CAIR doesn’t seem to like the horrors of radical Islam being exposed to mainstream audiences.
If Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, as well as radical Islamists like him, want to infiltrate the United States from the inside, wrapping themselves in civil protections and exploiting lax immigration laws, organizations like CAIR will surely be there to help them. The explosion of refugees, some of whom may indeed be dangerous due to a lack of airtight vetting, may be spreading the cancer of radical Islam already.
It’s critical to note that not all Muslims are radical, and not all refugees pose a danger. To believe that would be irrational and simply incorrect. However, the possibility that a minority of radicals could pose a danger to the United States must be examined carefully as well.
