Watch Bill Maher Eviscerate Hillary Clinton
Left wing provocateur Bill Maher is not one to holster an opinion, even if it upsets many of his Democrat comrades.
Case in point: his latest rant (below) delivered on Friday’s episode of HBO’s Real Time With Bill Maher in which he took the twice failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton to task for once again putting her personal ambition above the good of the party.
Maher’s rant about the former Secretary of State came in response to her declaration this week that she is “Ready to come out of the woods.”
“Hillary, stay in the woods,” said Maher. “You had your shot, you f-k’d it up. You’re Bill Buckner. We had the World Series and you let the grounder go through your legs. Let someone else have the chance. This to me, the fact that she’s coming back, it just verifies every bad thing anyone’s ever thought about the Clintons – that it’s all about them. Let some of the shorter trees get a little sunlight.”
And BOOM goes the dynamite. For those non-sports fans, Maher’s Buckner insult is a reference to Game 6 of the 1986 World Series in which Red Sox first baseman Bill Buckner let a ground ball go though his legs, thus securing a win for the New York Mets who went on to win the Series in Game 7.
Before Buckner’s mistake, Boston was one out away from their first World Series title since 1918. Click Here for the notorious moment: And here’s more from Maher’s panel discussion in which he calls out the Democrats for their fake outrage and inability to take a joke: “This is why the Democrats lost the election in the first place, because they cannot get their priorities straight,” Maher says. “They never fail to take the bait on little bullsh*t issues.”
