Trump vs. Bush: They Said There Were Weapons of Mass Destruction And They Knew There Were None. They Lied.

Donald Trump and Jeb Bush argue over Iraq, 9/11 and weapons of mass destruction at Saturday night’s debate moderated by CBS News. Trump addresses comments in made in 2008 where he said he was not surprised then-House Speaker Nancy Pelosi didn’t try to impeach Bush over Iraq.

“The World Trade Center came down during the reign of George Bush,” Trump said to a strong reaction from the audience. “That’s not keeping us safe.”

“George Bush made a mistake. We can make mistakes. But that one was a beauty. We should have never been in Iraq. We have destabilized the Middle East,” Trump said.

“I’m sick and tired of him going after my family,” Bush responded. “My dad is the greatest man alive in my mind. While Donald Trump was building a reality TV show, my brother was building a security apparatus to keep us safe. And I’m proud of what he did.”
